Peanut, Peanut Butter!

Well after two attempts at making our own peanut butter we have given up and have decide to go back to the store brand. The first problem is that our grinder is not so great and now is just died so instead of getting the oil out of the peanuts we have to add oil, which means sometimes we are stuck adding oils we buy on sale instead of the good ones I prefer. We also have to add sugar which again makes it of less quality than the store bought all natural peanut butter. The store bought stuff has no sugar. The first batch the kids loved, because we add a lot of sugar and extra oil. This batch we tried on S who came home with a full sandwich and when I asked what he did not like about it, he said, " the peanut butter is yucky!" So we win some and we lose some. The other thing is that it does not save us the money we first thought. So until we get a better grinder, its back to the store for the peanut butter.
