Family Up dates

Since I am up wasting time on the computer I thought would throw in a family up date.

On Sunday the twins had their appt. with Tipat Chalav. This is just a routine check up done by the nurse. I skipped the last two months as their appt. got canceled in December and I never got around to rescheduling until they called and nudged me. So at this point Y. 17lbs 4oz. and M. is 16lbs 3 oz. The nurse is concerned they are behind in their weight and they have not gained what they should in the last 2 months. However, since they have been sick and/or teething the last two months, I am not worried. I have decided that in everything here, if you or your kids don't fit in the box, there is a problem. We are still facing that with S.

Tomorrow S. is going for a psyche eval. since the gannenett is just convinced he needs help and if we don't get him the help he needs he will start grade 1 late. The person doing the eval. is more doing it to humor them I think. She doesn't normaly work with this age, but is American and so she speaks fluent english and hebrew. So she has brought in to help bridge the communication gap between me and gannenet. She also feels that not much can really be gathered at three and keeps emphasising that he is the youngest in his class. But this seems to be falling on deaf ears. I am glad that we have the same mind set as the psychologist as it is making me less defensive. I am curious to see what she has to say as well. If there are things that we can do that will make his education smoother than D. and I had then I am all for it, but I am not going spend the next 15 years making him feel self conscious for something that was mole hill turned into a mountain. The idea of home-schooling just keeps getting more appealing......

It is 10:30pm and low and behold the kids are still sleeping! (poo poo poo!) (as in please don't wake up now that I have said that!)

I should have done chores tonight, but it was great to play instead! Maybe I will do some quick things before turning in! A mommy has to play sometime!

Good Night!
