The Difference Between Oregon and Israel

OK there are a lot of differences between Oregon and Israel. But today I couldn't help laughing when I read the weather report. It says, "Partly cloudy and cooler temperatures." In Oregon this would mean slight to possible chance of showers and it would mean that I would be bringing sunscreen, sweatshirts and gortex, just in case........While here it means that we will have blue skies, white wispy clouds, that will thankfully produce a breeze and that I won't melt the minute I step outside. While it is true that there are clouds and the temps will be cooler, I can't help but think they are cheating with the weather report. I feel if they are going to report partial clouds, there should be real clouds that make you cold when the sun is blocked out and it should be sweatshirt weather. Must be the Oregonian in me!
