I bet it is a lot less interesting than what Y ate today. D was home sick today, in fact we are all fighting colds, but that is not the point. I was in checking on D when Y came into the bedroom covered in black hands and a big smear on his face. The obvious question comes out of my mouth which is,"Y, what have you been into?" The obvious answer, "Nothing" Yeah sure right.............So we try again, question repeated. Answer this time, " Cookies." Me, "We don't have cookies... Were you in the oven?" "No" comes the reply of my two year old. By this time I am pretty convinced that this is where he has been. When I make bread I burn a small ball of it. This is to replicate the part that women used to give to the Jewish Priests in the days of the temple. I usually leave it in there for a couple of weeks and then take them out. The kids are convinced that if they bite them enough the will eventually taste like a treat. One more time I ask, " Have you been in the oven?" Again the reply is "No." "OK so what cookies are you eating?" I ask. The response, "Abba Cookies!" Oh great we think, what are Abba cookies? So I finally go out front to find out just what he has been into. It would seem that Abba cookies are Charcoal Birquettes...........Fortunately there does not seem to be a mess. But these things can often be misleading.
Oh and late breaking news......Y has just informed us that Giraffes eat lions and bees. Apparantely Y is not the only with an interesting appetite.
